Grievance Redressal Committee

The main objective of GRC (Grievance Redressal Committee) is to prevent unfair practices, complaints of alleged discrimination by students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC, Women, Minority, Differently abled students and addressing the scholarship issues and sexual harassment cases and to provide a mechanism to innocent students and stakeholders for redressal of their grievances.

Procedure

The person concerned with any grievance shall fill the Grievance Redressal Form with all possible facts and documentation and submit it to the Principal’s office. The committee will investigate into the matter and shall try to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Involvement of Students

Certain students are nominated for this committee. If the victim is not satisfied with the recommendations of the GRC, the victim approaches the nominated students and these students raise the grievances of the victim again in GRC meeting.

Guidelines for Grievance Redressal

• Submit grievance in writing to the Principal or via the online Grievance Redressal System.
• Grievance will be considered promptly, ideally within one week.
• The cell shall hear all parties involved.
• Complainants and Respondents must be present for hearings.
• Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process.
• Complex/legal grievances (e.g., sexual harassment) will be addressed with legal advice.
• The committee will recommend a solution to the Principal for further action.

GRIEVANCE REDRESSEL COMMITTEE

A Committee with below mentioned members has been constituted to address any sort of grievances from both staff and students. This committee will work under the chairmanship of the principal.
