GOVERNING BODY

Governance is the mechanism through which the best possible results are achieved with limited resources. It involves the processes of interaction and decision-making among stakeholders involved in a collective problem, leading to the creation, reinforcement, or reproduction of social norms.

It is the key activity that connects management, staff, students, and the community. We ensure governance is effective, efficient, and economical in its execution. We support modern governance, proper administration, and believe in acknowledging diversity at every level.

The Governing Body shall perform the following functions:

• Organize teaching and determine teaching requirements in the college.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching programs and suggest remedial measures, assisted by an Advisory Committee of three professionals submitting biannual reports.
• Appoint the Principal/Director, teaching, and non-teaching staff as per University regulations.
• Monitor faculty deployment and development, placements, and industry-institute interactions, and suggest improvements.
• Perform duties and exercise powers entrusted by the management and University.
• Ensure establishment of effective systems of control and accountability.
• Monitor institutional performance and quality assurance.
• Promote transparency and openness at every level.
